Classrooms

Infants

In our infant room there will be two teachers and up to eight babies. We keep our nursery staff to child ratio one below the State recommendation, at one to three babies. Our infant room is setup to be a warm, loving and enriching environment. Staff interact with the children on the floor, during play and during feeding time. Our families will have the same set of teacher everyday at drop off and pick up, to provide consistency for our children. We pride ourselves on helping the children reach their developmental milestones such a babbling, tummy time, rolling over, sitting up, crawling, and eventually walking. While in the nursery the children will also transition over to a sippy cup and table food before they move to the toddler room at their one year birthday.

In our two’s room we will work on developmental milestones like:  beginning to work on fine motor skills (lacing, peeling stickers, string beds) and large motor skills (throw a ball towards a target, balance on one foot, gallop), learning our colors, working on letter and number recognition along with shapes.
